Would you believe that Acer is working on a frameless laptop with touchscreen keyboard? As far-fetched as the idea might be, it’s certainly plausible, expected even. The idea, as rumored by DigiTimes, involves doing away with the display’s frame by printing colors directly onto the back of the display’s reinforced glass substrate from Corning (a la Gorilla Glass presumably).

Microsoft is going to deliver Windows operating system update to millions of Europeans today with a browser choice software. This offer is the part of a deal Microsoft struck with the European Commission.

The browser choice offer will be prompted to Windows users where they may select any browser of their choice out of the list of 10 available browsers.

According to Microsoft the Windows 7 users will also get the option to replace Internet Explorer with any other browser of their choice.

According to Net Applications statistics approximately 62% internet users stick with Internet Explorer, 24% with Firefox whereas Chrome market share in about 5%. Now we have to wait for the results about this offer of browser choice screen by Microsoft that how it effects the market shares of different web browsers companies.

A month ago Microsoft said that they have sold 60 million copies of the newly released operating system Windows 7 but at the Morgan Stanley Technology Media & Telecom Conference on March 2, Microsoft’s Chief Financial Officer Peter Klein said that until now 90 million copies of Windows 7 have been sold.
