According to Strategy Analytics report Apple has overtaken Nokia in smartphone profit margin in the third financial quarter of the year. Apple earned $1.6 billion through the launch of its recent iPhone model whereas Nokia’s operating profit is $1.1 billion.

Although Nokia is still the largest mobile phone company with the highest global mobile phone market share but Apple is now a step further in its profit earning by iPhone which is just launched 2 years before.
