
Microsoft has released the beta version of visual programing language Kodu which is used to create customize games. Kodu is enjoyable for children or anyone while they may design gaming scenarios by selecting and combining built-in graphical components and these games could be distributed and shared with others.
According to Microsoft Research:
“The Kodu language is designed specifically for game development and provides specialized primitives derived from gaming scenarios. Programs are expressed in physical terms, using concepts like vision, hearing, and time to control character behavior.”
