According to NY Times report Google CEO Eric Schmidt has confirmed the Google tablet device which will run over Android operating system and the company is also experimenting in “stealth mode” with publishers to explore delivery of books, magazines and other content on a tablet.

Laptops tend to lose their charm quickly when you’re constantly looking for the nearest power outlet to charge up.  How do you keep your battery going for as long as possible?  Here are 15 easy ways to do so.

1. Defrag regularly -  The faster your hard drive does its work – less demand you are going to put on the hard drive and your battery.  Make your hard drive as efficient as possible by defragging it regularly. (but not while it’s on battery of course!) Mac OSX is better built to handle fragmentation so it may not be very applicable for Apple systems.

2. Dim your screen – Most laptops come with the ability to dim your laptop screen.  Some even come with ways to modify CPU and cooling performance.  Cut them down to the lowest level you can tolerate to squeeze out some extra battery juice.

Did you know you could run Windows 7 on iPad? Let’s see how. Apple iPad left many users disappointed by launching the iPad with iPhone OS that limited the functionality of what could be a potential threat to notebooks. However solutions are always there, and even before the launch of the iPad, we could see an app that enables you to run Windows 7 on iPad. Citrix Systems have promised to enable running Windows 7 on iPad using Citrix XenApp (application virtualization solution) or XenDesktop (desktop virtualization solution). Citrix has already such an app for iPhone but with iPad just around the corner, there are new opportunities with larger display and full keyboard that iPhone didn’t have.
