How To Write A Good CV

CV Curriculum Vitae is an introduction of you. It’s essential for applying for a job. CV has a quick impact and it familiarizes you with employer. A CV is your personal specification. During the interview CV is a source of information for employer, he will make questions from it, so you must be clear about each and every thing which you write in it.

Writing a Successfull CV, A Successfull CV Must Have The Following Sections And Details?

1- Personal Details:

Write your name, date of birth, landline number, mobile number, home address, email and web page.

2- Education:

Provide complete data regarding your whole study time. Take start from high school level to onward. Mention your subjects/courses which you have studied on each level, provide information about grades, include special achievements (if any), thesis, projects, and complete information about educational institutes from where you have gotten education.

3- Work Experience:

If you are a student just provide detail of your projects and thesis. But if you have experience regarding the field, mention it clearly. Provide the previous company name, job title, working tasks which you’d performed there, time period, list your most recent experience first.

4- Skills:

Write all your personal skills , not only your technical skills regarding your field but also provide information about your other capabilities as ability to use computer , possess driving license, can speak many other languages.

5- Interest:

Write about your interests and hobbies. But do not provide detail of your interests.

6- References:

Provide two or more names as reference. These must be from your educational institute and from any employer where you did work before. Or if you’ve no work experience then references from your educational institute will be enough. Make sure that referees are willing to give you a reference. Provide the phone numbers and addresses of referees.

Note: When you’ve completed all information, check its accuracy. Provide full names of educational institutes, employers and referees, correct and consistent dates and correct spellings. Probably CV must not exceed than two sheets. Put page numbers at the pages. A good scanned or original photo of yourself can be stuck on CV.
